How to copy securities from the Historical Data CD to my hard drive?

• Insert the data CD into the CD drive. • Start The DownLoader • Open the Tools menu • Select Copy. • Click the Browse button. • Double-click the CD drive (For example, D:) to display the folders listed on the CD. • Highlight the folder that you want to copy (e.g. D:\US Stocks\A-B) and click OK. The copy menu should now display the security names in this CD folder. • Highlight all of the files in this folder and click the Copy button. • In the Destination folder field, type the folder path to where you want the securities to be copied (e.g. C:\MetaStock Data\US Stocks\A-B) and click OK. • Make sure Copy Smart Charts and Delete Source Security are unchecked. • Click OK and the files will copy the files from the CD into the new folder on your hard drive.
