How to copy EDS data?
First, go to FasTEM INCA computer (the computer handles EDS spectrum acquisition), run ISIS program, write down your job number. job number Directions to access EDS data on the stand alone computer in the computer room: 1) Open the ISIS directory on the TEM computer. 2) Go to directory AC1 (sometimes it is AC2). 3) Find directory with job you want to analyze. 4) Copy this directory into c:\ISIS\AC1 5) Start ISIS software. (Ignore errors for not being hooked up to a detector.) 6) Open menu item: Jobs/Scan for Jobs 7) Scan directory ISIS You should now be able to analyze your data on the stand alone computer. If there is already a job with the same number on the stand alone computer, just use a slightly different job number. EELS data: add .elp extension and read in digital micrograph.
