How to cook shrimp cocktail?
Basic shrimp cocktail is easy. Boil a pot of salted water. add some old bay seasoning to it if you have it. When the shrimp are pink and not see-through, about 3-4 minutes in the boiling water, drain the water, top the shrimp with ice and put them in the fridge until very cold. To serve, place a small bowl of cocktail sauce in the middle of a plate. Arrange the cold shrimp on the plate and add a the wedges of a sliced lemon to garnish. You can line the plate first with kale or lettuce or something green first if you want.
