How to contain a wild horse for gelding?
the only solutions i have for you are to see if there are any rodeo stock contractors in your area,they have the knowledge and working skills from handling wild or mean horses without causing injury to them.since transporting the horse is out of the question you will need to make a squeeze chute out of stock panels and end gates or slide gates that are pinned in the corner to the ground.most rodeo contractors have stock bosses that are willing to set up equipment to do this and some will do it for a meal.the second one involves calling your local zoo to come out and tranq the horse with a blowgun.there is another solution that you might try is to have some good ranchers cowboys or rodeo pick up men to rope the horse,horses feel better when other horses are around and have them lead it to a set of stocks or a squeeze chute,we have done that quite a few times for some wild horses that we have had to capture including the one i ride now to handle bulls.
