How to construct a chicken coop?
First, determine how big you want the chicken coop to be. Then, check your yard and garage for supplies. You can use old board, leftover lumber and/or plywood. You will also need chicken wire. Whatever supplies you don’t already have can be purchased at a hardware or lumber supply store. Make sure you make a door that’s large enough for you to be able to keep the coop clean. Inside the coop, you’ll need nesting boxes for the chickens. The nesting boxes should be large enough to hold 3-5 hens each. Also, remember to build the coop in a high ground area so that it doesn’t flood when it rains. Good luck with your project!
