How to connect yamaha keyboard to computer and use sound forge audio studio 9.0?
This is because Sound Forge records audio, not MIDI. When connecting your DGX to your computer via either a USB or MIDI port, the keyboard is only sending and receiving data, not sound. This can be useful, but if you want to record on Sound Forge, you’ll need to connect from the audio out jack on your keyboard (on the DGX I think it’s labeled for headphones) to the line input on your sound card. A standard guitar cable should do the trick, except that you will need a 1/4″ to 1/8″ adapter on one end of the cable to connect to the sound card.
