To avoid unnecessary confusion and mistake, we have omitted Pin 9 (Sheild1). Some internal USB cables already have pin 9 blocked so it is almost impossible to connect the USB cable the wrong way. Pin 9 (Shield1) is not critical because it is the USB connector shielding and most USB devices already have the Shield connected with the USB connector’s GND.
