In order to use this SCSI ID switch, you need to connect the SCSI ID switch to your SCSI drive. Here is how to do it: • 1. Find SCSI ID jumpers on your SCSI drive. If you don’t know where is the SCSI ID jumpers, please contact with the SCSI drive manufacturers or visit their website to find out. • 2. For 68-pin SCSI drive, there are 4 SCSI ID jumpers: ID 0, ID 1, ID 2, ID 3. To connect the SCSI ID switch to the jumpers, please connect the Brown cable to ID 0, Red cable to ID 1, Yellow cable to ID 2, Gray cable to ID 3, Black cable to Ground (all 4 ID jumpers ground are linked, so you can connect ground cable to any of ID jumper’s ground). • 3. For 50-pin SCSI drive, there are only 3 SCSI ID jumpers: ID 0, ID 1, ID 2.
