Type iPhone as SSID in the ‘Network name (SSID)’ (you can choose any other name) and select ‘Open’ for ‘Network Authentication’ and select ‘Disabled’ for ‘Data encryption’. 6. Below you can see a checkbox, ‘This is a computer-to-computer (ad hoc) network…’ Check this option and click OK. 7. Assign an IP address to your wireless network adapter for example 10.0.0.1. This you can do by going to ‘Wireless Network Connections’ > Right Click to go to Properties > Double Click ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ > Then select ‘Use the following IP Address’ > Enter the IP for example, 10.0.0.1 then click tab to automatically set a Subnet mask.
