How to configure lower resolutions to fixed frequency monitors ?
By expanding the front and back porch so that the picture send to monitor matches the resolution needed by the monitor, but the computer picture takes the part of the center of the monitor and other parts are covered byt those increased front and back porches. Obviously the image won’t cover the enire screen, but it is a lot better than nothing.
