SMAC-M is our proprietary video compression technology developed by TeleEye for IP and mobile video surveillance application. Unlike traditional video coders such as JPEG, M-JPEG or MPEG-4, SMAC-M is the first video coder which generates multiple video streams which allow multiple remote users to obtain optimal surveillance performance for their respective channel requirements without affecting each other. It records 60% longer and transmits 50% faster than MPEG-4.
