How to Color Carnations?

0

Carnations can be dyed any color. Take a jar or a glass container, fill it with water, and add a few drops of food coloring until the water is the color you like. Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut about an inch off the bottom of the carnation. Make this cut at an angle. Place the carnation in the colored water. After several hours, the color will be drawn up through the stem and color the flower petals. If you want several carnations the same color, put them all in the same container. If you want contrasting colors, use a different container for each color.
