How to clean the green algae in my pool?
Is this one of those inflatable pools? If so do yourself and your family a big favor and drain it, scrub it, and start with fresh water. Algae can be a lot of trouble and a health risk. The chemicals to get rid of it are just as dangerous, necessary but dangerous. When you fill, take the time to do it right and test the pH. If the pH is off you are wasting time with chemicals and the pool becomes uncomfortable to swim in. Use tablets to keep the chlorine at a safe level to keep the algae and other nasties down. Always follow directions, pH between 7.2 and 7.6. Remember your skin will absorb water while you swim, if you cut corners or get lazy your friends or your kids or anyone who uses the pool can end up sick.
