How to clean non-skid bathtub?
Well i would think the tub is metal with porcelain paint on it. Put a magnet on it to find if it has metal inside most likely it does and it wont be fiberglass because fiberglass will scratch very easy and is mostly found in boats and surfboards. The non-skid surface is very hard to clean and the only thing that comes to my mind chemical wise would be comet or Ajax. which is a bleach product. You could also try power washing it on a low setting with a hose which may cause paint damage if you really want it gone. Or you can buy new porcelain paint and repaint the tub. But you can not use it for the amount of time listed on the package or the paint will also look dirty when it is dry again. You may also try soaking it in low level water with floor cleaner bleach or another chemical but do not mix ammonia and bleach it is toxic. And then let it soak.
