How to Clean Musty Smelling Towels?
If your towels are just musty from normal use then all you really need to do is to wash them in your normal way with your normal laundry detergent. However, if the smell is from towels that have been sitting a while then you will want to soak them first in laundry detergent and either regular bleach for white towels or bleach for colors. After about an hour soak, then launder as usual and add a good fabric softener as well.
