How to clean grout off tiles?
My answer is what I ve done, when cleaning other peoples grout, is a combo of the answer. If you have actual hard grout on the tile use a piece of wood or plastic. I happen to use a wood shim since I always carry them to knock off larger stuff.Then I go over it with a WHITE nylon doodle bug pad. You can get the dish washing nylon pads in a pinch to use them. Don t use water , do this dry.Water won t “dissolve ” or loosen any dry cement, In fact if its just a haze on the tile, doing this will just reapply the cement. Worse case you can buy grout removal in a small 8 oz bottle. But this is a last resort.
