How to choose a good pair of binoculars?
The following are some factors to consider when choosing a pair of perma focus binoculars:- • For steady hand-held observations, choose a pair of binoculars that has a magnification of not more than 9 times. This brings objects 9 times closer to you and is the optimum magnification for all hand-held binoculars. Higher magnifications of 10x or more require very steady hands or a tripod, especially on a boat or other moving vehicles.
