How to cherish life itself?
Yes, I have my own ways: 1.) Learning to look outside myself, and realizing that life exists outside of me. 2.) Focusing more on others and less on myself, and helping others. Doing so makes me feel like I have a purpose in this world. 3.) Focusing on the ‘here and now’. I noticed that do that instead of worrying about the future, I feel less anxious and happier. 4.) On a sunny, cool day I prefer to go outside and sit on the grass. I relish the cool feeling of the grass on my skin and it makes for a relaxing place to nap, on the natural earth. 5.) I try to focus more on the natural things than material things: like flowers, animals, fish, oceans, lakes, dirt, leaves, trees, setting sun, rising sun, twilight, sunshine. I find that spending an afternoon outside instead of in front of the computer makes me feel happier, and more relaxed. 6.) I also try to converse and spend time with my family as much as possible.
