How to check that the Virus Signature Databases of F-Secure Anti-Virus are up-to-date?
The Automatic Update Agent activates transparently in the background any time you are connected to the Internet so that you can receive the latest updates to your computer transparently. The Last update check on the Automatic Updates page shows the time and status of the latest update. If you want to personally check that you have the latest virus definitions, click Check Now. If your definitions are not up to date, the newest versions will be downloaded. The Virus definitions updated on the Automatic Updates page shows the time and version of the latest virus definitions update. For example, “2007-04-26_03” indicates that the database was updated on April 26, 2007, and that the signature was the third release of that day. The Spyware definitions updated on the Automatic Updates page shows similarly the time and version of the latest spyware definitions update.
