How to change the tary name in HP printers ,ex. from tray one to “white tray”?
Unfortunately the paper tray names and other such properties are controlled by the printer and the printer driver and are named as they are by the program itself and are thereby unchangeable unless you can re-write the programs for the name changes. I guess the program writers didn’t think that there would be much demand by users to change the basic paper tray naming format and that it would be not worth the added expense to include that feature. Most people just adapt to know which paper tray holds which kind of paper. Best of luck.
