A. DVD REGION CODING – International DVD Viewing By default, MFR is programmed to accept Region-1 DVD movies. This allows playback of DVD movies produced for the United States and Canada. To set the MFR to play a DVD for another region (such as Region-2: Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Egypt, South Africa and Greenland), connect MFR to a PC running Windows and insert the DVD movie produced for another region. Windows will prompt you to set the region within MFR, and will inform you of the number of remaining region changes still available.
