How to change auto from gasoline to propane gas?
Fuel injected vehicles CAN be converted to propane…no problem. Propane delivery trucks run on diesel because no manufacturer’s make large trucks anymore with gasoline engines that can be converted to run on propane. No other reason. You will experience a slight power loss and a slight reduction in fuel mileage but certainly not half. No big deal unless you are pulling a large trailer… Prins fuel systems (prins-lpg.com) or Impco Technologies (www.impco.ws) are probably two of the best systems out there for LP conversions. Their websites both have listings for distributors of their product who should be able to hook you up with a conversion dealer near you.
