Raising tadpoles can be fun, and I won’t repeat any of the details on how to raise them. Raising frogs takes commitment. Frogs may live for several years, and eat a lot of crickets and mice. Bullfrogs other common frogs are also pretty boring. You may find that all they do is sit and eat. Oriental fire bellied toads are among the small group of active frogs, and are easy to take care of too. You won’t find them anywhere near maryland, but they can be purchased at most pet stores that sell reptiles. You may need a license to keep them though.
