To calibrate the post-magnification perform the following steps: • Insert specimen with known spacing. • Select a reasonable magnification. • Set this magnification in the submenu EM-SETUP. • Acquire an image. • Calculate the power spectra. • Go to the command LINESCAN • Define a linescan over the known reflex • Move the cursor to the reflex • Click on the button “Calib” • Enter the known spacing in the dialog box • Go back to the main menu. • Have a look in the USER DATA • The calibrated post-magnification will be shown. Note: This value is only valid for the current image. To make this value permanent you have to enter that value into the microscope configuration file.
