How to buy a Scorpio?
Since I recently purchased one (Oct. 97), and spent almost two months going over it from front to back, I can share some insights. BTW I make frequent references to the following, Vacuum and Electrical Troubleshooting Guide, Service Manual, etc. – you WILL need all of these if you plan to do any work yourself or an informed customer at your local service facility. Theses are invaluable resources. Also, I make frequent references to BAT and Rapido, there are other sources to be found on the internet. BAT may not be the least expensive but their catalog is complete – I have not purchased from BAT or Rapido so I can not comment on their services or quality. Let’s start at the front of the car. ($C = Canadian, $U = US) 1. Check all front lights, Headlamps, Parking, Side Marker, Turn Signal, Fog Lamps. Headlamps – are lenses yellow. Fog Lamps – working, broken lenses.
