How to Build Window Shutters?
Building window shutters may seem like a daunting task but with the right tools and materials it can be done. Begin by measuring the area where you would like to install the shutters. You should determine the dimensions of both height and width. Purchase a good wood that can be painted or stained. You should cut a top, bottom and side rail for your shutters normally about 4 on the top and bottom and 2 in the sides. You will then need a 2 divider rail in the middle. Glue all of these pieces together after the ends are mitered. You can then cut out your louvers that are about 1 thick. Drill a hole in your frame and in your louver to attach to your frame and attach with o-rings to allow them to open and close.
