How to become an alpha kappa alpha?
Alpha kappa alpha is the first Greek-lettered sorority established and incorporated by African American college women.To become a member has to pass the “Pledge Week”, a period where a candidate’s grades and behavior are reviewed by chapter members. Candidates who withstood this period are initiated into the sorority. After the candidate receives an official letter from the sorority, she can participate in the membership intake process. Prospective members must have a C+ average prior to their membership submission as well as have a record in community service. If a prospective member has graduated, that member could be invited to join the sorority at the discretion of the graduate chapter.
