How to become a psychiatrist?

0

To become a psychiatrist you will need to take a lot of science courses in high school to prepare yourself for a college premedical program. Course to take include physics, chemistry and biology. When you are ready, take the Medical Admission Test (MCAT) at the end of your junior year in college. Finish your four years of medical school, pass your medical boards, and you will have your Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree. Then you’ll begin your 4-year residency in psychiatry for which you will receive a salary.
