How to become a foreign exchange student in Sweden?
hellloooo I’m 17 and a senior and considered this option as well! (Sure wish I had done it now!) Basically no one can give you info because the exchange programs that are used vary from school to school. So start out by going to your guidance counsler – she will have all of these materials for you in addition to better answers to your questions! I’m sure you can choose your family, but the agency will want to “check them out” first. It’s a company policy but you may be able to have them skip that part by having your parents sign a legal document with the company or something like that. (I have lots of family in sweden too). Anyways, good luck! (btw, its so awesomee that you speak Swedish. I speak French so my dad is always upset that I picked that over his native language!
