How to Become a Child Psychologist
The course may vary depending on the state in which you practice, however, most child psychologist first obtain a 4 year degree in psychology or related field. This is followed by at least 2 years of a graduate level course with courses specific to child psychology. It’s not necessary in all states, but in order to practice independently, a PhD may be required.
