How to be a foreign exchange student to Great Britain?
You don’t mention if you are a high school or university student. If you are a university student, I’m afraid I can’t help you, but perhaps someone else can. If you are a high school student, I can give you my advise to consider. My biggest piece of advise is to utilize an agency that is listed on with the Council for Standards on International Exchange Travel (CSIET.org). They routinely audit agencies to help insure quality. I am a 5-time host mom and volunteer with Youth For Understanding (YFU). Please forgive my bias, but when I have asked students why they have chosen YFU (both students who come to the USA and those from the USA who go abroad), they basically say because YFU gave them more bang for their buck. Unfortunately, Great Britain is (I believe) the most expensive program. The website is being updated with current costs and I
