How to backup the original mailboxes and/or where to find the mailboxes, restored by Recovery for Outlook Express?

To find the default Outlook Express storage folder, do the following: • Start Outlook Express program • Right-click on any of the folders (e.g. Inbox) and choose ‘Properties’ item in the drop-down menu • In Properties, mind the folder location (usually it is :\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{alphanumeric ID}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\, however, the path might differ depending on the particular system) • Open the folder mentioned in the 3d clause. Most probably hidden files and folders view option must be enabled. To turn it on, open any of the Windows folders, go to Service menu, then choose Folder Options -> View tab and check the Show hidden files and folders radiobutton • In the Outlook Express storage folder you will find your original mailboxes as well as the recovered ones.
