A. Sodium silicate used as peroxide stabilizer also acts as an alkali buffer. Under alkaline condition it gets polymerised and gets deposited on metal surface of machine causing scaling problem. To overcome this problem organic and inorganic stabilizers are introduced in the process of bleaching.
