How to apply for a new FAA temporary license?
You need to contact the FSDO, make an appointment and have an Inspector issue a new one. You might be in a pickle unless, as required, you notified the FAA with in 30 days of your address change.(as required by regulation). Temporary airman certificates are valid for 120 days after the date of issuance. This time period is based on the workload of the Airmen Certification Branch, AFS-760, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1) If, after 120 days, the permanent certificate has not been received, the airman may be issued another temporary certificate but only by an inspector.
