How To Age My Remington 700 BDL .222 ??

0

Hello, I have a Remington 700 BDL .222. It has the Monte Carlo stock, raised cheek and checkering on the stock, black tip on the wood at the end of the forearm, etc. It is in very good to excellent+ condition. I do not really know how to “officially” describe it’s condition. I have seen this same/similar gun for sale at gun auctions for $1,000. I’m assuming they are an older model and assumed mine is too. I see they must still be available in the newer models. How can I find out the age of my gun? Don’t know why I figured this, but assumed it was a 70’s model. Not sure.
