How to advertise a job in Job Bank?

To advertise a job in our Internet Job Banks you will have to call a Human Resource Centre (Canada Employment Centre) closest to you. When you call, the job order clerk will get the job description from you and specify a distribution area for your ad. The distribution area denotes which offices you want the job to be advertised in. For instance if you call from St. Thomas, Ont. the job order can be distributed to St. Thomas only, the St. Thomas management area, South Western Ontario or Canada Wide. If you specify a job order for local distribution only, the job ad will not show on the Internet, unless your city or area has a jobbank on the internet. Presently we only have jobbanks for certain cities or areas. Here is a list of them . If you aren’t from these areas you can’t advertise in these job banks unless you tag the distribution as national. Anything tagged national (Canada wide) will show up in our National Jobbank on the internet.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
