How to add No Connect (NC) to solve dangle warning?
• First you have to allow pins and nets to own the “class” property. to do this: goto menubar and choose Setup > Property Owner/Type > Property owner. Now, select the “pin” and “net” buttons, and now in the property name field type “class”. Then choose ok. • Now that you have allowed pins and nets to own the “class” property, you want to add this property to the no connect pins. To do this: Unselect all and then select only the pins (the little diamonds) that you want to leave unconnected. Then use the right mouse button to bring up the pop-up menu. From the menu select property > add > add single property. • Now you see a form: In the property name field, enter “class”. In the property value field, enter “dangle”. Select visibility “off” unless you want to see the word “dangle” on your schematic. Select ‘ok’ • Now on your schematic you see the word(s) “dangle” connected to the pin(s), click where you want the words to be. If you turned off visibility, then it doesn’t matter, since you
