I can’t seem to find the dipstick for the transmission on my car… A: The ATF dipstick is located to the right and closer to the battery and it will require a skinny neck funnel to add ATF Fluid. We have owned many Toyotas from brand new and currently have 1998 Toyota Sienna XLE which uses Dexron III ATF whereas the newest Toyotas (don’t know switchover year) but my mechanic did bring it to my attention that my wife’s 2005 Toyota Highlander 6 cylinder AWD REQUIRES ONLY genuine TOYOTA ATF TYPE T-IV that is not sold in auto parts stores but only at the Parts Department of Toyota dealers and also on EBAY… Hope the Above Info Helps!
