Assuming the wires are plugged in correctly. You would need to go to add/remove hardware, and hope it will recognize the extra USB slots. I really like USB hubs personally, run one wire up from the back of your comp to your desk and plug in wires from that point, instead of having tons of wires running down to your pc.
