Speech recognition is an in-app purchase feature. It is offered as a monthly subscription ($0.99 a month). In order to activate it, in IM+ please open “More” / “Settings” / “Speech recognition”. Press “$0.99” button. You will receive a message: “To convert your speech to text, it will be sent to the external service, provided and maintained by Yap Inc. Speech and text transmission is anonymous and secure”. Press “I agree” button. Then you will get a “Confirm Your In App Purchase” message. Press “Buy”. You will be offered to enter your iTunes password as you usually do when purchase applications from AppStore. Please enter it. Then speech recognition will be automatically activated in your IM+ version.
