How to access the Media Hub over the Internet without using the Remote Access feature of the device?

0

In order to access the Media hub over the internet, and not using the Remote Access feature of the device, you must forward port 443, port 80 and port 9000 on your home router. After forwarding port 443, port 80 and port 9000, you must access the device using HTTPS://WAN_IP_Address Without using HTTPS, you will be unable to play any music or view any video files. NOTE: While using HTTPS, you will be unable to access the configuration page of the Media Hub. Screenshot below is an example of WRT610N. Click here to learn how to set up port forwarding.
