How thick are the Western saddle pads?
Western saddle pads are made with 2 layer of batting and 1 layer of padding. The upholstery batting is 1 inch thick and padding is a 1/4 inch felt like material. However, it does shrink since it has been quilted. We can only add an 1 extra layer of batting OR padding, if need. Each extra layer is $6.00. Due to the thickness, We can only add 1 extra layer of either batting or padding.
