How the war in iraq started?
In 2002, the United Nations passed Resolution 1441, calling for Iraq to completely cooperate with U.N. weapon inspectors, with the purpose of verifying that Iraq was not in possession of weapons of mass destruction. While inspectors found no evidence of weapons of mass destruction, they could not verify the accuracy of Iraq’s weapon declarations. Thus, the military campaign against Iraq began on March 20th, 2003.
