How the heck does the Ranking Map work?

The ranking map shows you schools ranked based on what is in view on the map. Rankings will change as you move the map and zoom in and out. If there are not enough ranked schools for a view, the map will show schools near the center point of the map up to your max results. Oh yeah, it is fast!
