How the grace marks are awarded?
Grace marks will be awarded to the new scheme candidates also, as per G.O. (MS) 313/2004/G.Edn dtd 11/10/2004 and as per the existing rules relating to grading system. Grace marks will be awarded for the written examination for an aggregate of 490 marks. Maximum grace marks will be awarded up to A Grade (80-89). Candidates came first in athletics, games, aquatic items will be awarded a maximum of 10% to get D+. The Heads of Schools should send the list of candidates who are eligible for Grace marks (Youth Festival, Sanskrit Festival, Work Experience Mela, Sports and Games, Bharath Scouts and Guides, NCC Cadets) to the Director of Public Instruction, Thiruvananthapuram – 14 through the D.E.O. before 2nd February 2008. The office will not be responsible for the delay in awarding Grace Marks on the belated proposals.
