How the first americans lived?

I’m not sure what conorlew is getting at, unless he has forgotten that my ancestors were and still are the first Americans. We truly knew freedom, not the illusion of freedom that people have today, but true freedom. We lived and died in our close relationship with our mother earth. When we got discovered, the buffalo herd was estimated at 60-100 million strong. They supplied many of us with every thing we needed to live. Passenger pigeons were in flocks so huge that they darkened the sky when they flew over. We went where ever we wanted and the country was ours. The white people estimated that there were between 10-50 million of our ancestors living here in our country. By 1900, the passenger pigeon was extinct, there were only about 300 living buffalo left, and the survivors of my people numbered less than a million. Our relationship with the earth was changed and our stewardship of the land was finished.
