How the current economic crisis, inflation and retrenchment can affect Malaysia’s economic outlook?
• The impact of the global financial crisis is huge. People are now worried of their future – such damaging impacts would need more time for a country to experience recovery. The credit freeze of the U.S. economy has caused many companies here to close down, GDP is low. Increase in unemployment rates in many industries and social problems are the spillover effects. Hence, some are forced to find jobs elsewhere and their kids need to be transferred to the other schools. This might affect their studies too. Others resort to petty thefts and other crimes.
All the world is experiencing stressful economic crisis, not Malaysia only. We just have to survive in it and unite to find possible solutions.
