Bill Clinton is the 42nd President of the United States and has been at the forefront of a time of relative peace and stability in both the economy and security for the United States. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, the six foot one lawyer became its youngest elected governor and upon his entry into the White House, was the third youngest President elected. As president he instituted many reformist policies that have been described as “centrist” but not necessarily populist. Though his administration was largely peaceful, his life was rather turbulent as he was impeached for obstruction of justice in the investigation regarding the Whitewater Business scandal and his alleged trysts with an intern right in the White House.
