How tall are miniature cattle?
Miniature cattle vary in size. Mid-sided Miniature Jerseys are between 42″ and 46″ at the hip. Full-Miniature Miniature Jerseys are 42″ or less at the hip. I have a Miniature Jersey cow that’s 39″ at the hip and a Miniature Belted Galloway cow that’s 38″ at the hip. Most though are 40″ to 42″ at the hip. Miniature cattle are very expensive because they are very rare. There are less than 500 Registered Miniature Jerseys in the US.
