How sucessfull are ovulation predictor kits in helping you to conceive?
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. We’ve been trying now for 6 months. I think I’m going to purchase a ovulation predictor kit this month to help us know which day’s i’m ovulation. I’m just curious for those of you who have used these kits, would you consider them succesful? If so, how long did it take you to conceive after using them? Thanks for your time and help. Using an OPK will not greatly increase your chances of getting pregnant. The statistical data only shows a very slight increase. OPKs predict ovulation and let you know when you are fertile. They can be helpful if your periods are variable from month to month. However, it is important to understand that a normal fertile couple that has unprotected sex twice a week will typically be pregnant in about 3 months.
